A 29 year old man is lucky to by alive after going for a swim in Owen Sound Bay.
Owen Sound Police, Paramedics and Firefighters all responded to East Bayshore Road, north of 28th Avenue East around 4 PM on Sunday.
Citizens reported seeing a naked man swimming in the bay, a significant distance off shore.
The man originally refused to come to shore — however after some coaxing by paramedics, he eventually did.
Once the male was on shore, he fell quickly into a semi-conscious state and was not responsive to questions.
He was taken to hospital and treated for hypothermia and will be assessed for psychiatric issues.
