A Georgian Bluffs family recovering from a devastating fire earlier this month, is now the victim of a break enter and theft.
Grey County OPP say the house was destroyed by a fire on April 2nd.
The owner suffered lacerations to his hands, caused when he tried to re-enter the home to retrieve his three dogs.
His son was treated for smoke inhalation and the three dogs perished in the fire.
Now, OPP say a break, enter and theft has been discovered on Wednesday.
It is believed to have occurred sometime between April 17th and April 21st.
Several articles were stolen with a combined value in excess of 10 thousand dollars.
Grey County OPP say the items stolen include a 2002 Suzuki (dark green) All-Terrain Vehicle, and a 2008 Snow-Bear utility trailer.
Also stolen was a black 19 gallon air compressor, a green Maple Create diesel powered generator, a circular saw, chainsaw, and a red and black 12 volt gel battery.
The victim is still dealing with the trauma and aftermath of the fire and now someone has taken pretty much everything that will move.
Anyone with info is asked to contact Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
