Several area drivers are now wishing they had stayed off the roads over the holiday weekend.
Grey County OPP charged five drivers with impaired from Friday through Monday night most along Highway 10 in Grey Highlands.
The first person charged was a 51 year old Barrie man who was pulled over in Flesherton around 2 AM on Friday.
On Saturday, two young Owen Sound men were found impaired while driving in Georgian Bluffs and in Flesherton.
The 21 and 19 year old men will appear in Owen Sound court on impaired driving charges.
Just before 1 AM on Sunday, the OPP stopped a car on Grey Road 2 north of Grey Road 4 in Grey Highlands.
The 20 year old Grey Highlands driver was found to have a blood alcohol level over .08 and was charged.
And finally just before midnight on Monday night, a 66 year old woman from Angus was found to be impaired behind the wheel.
She was stopped by Grey County OPP just west of Markdale and now has a date in Owen Sound court later this week.
