Federal NDP candidate Grant Robertson is calling out Huron Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb and his party for short changing farmers.
Robertson points to the proposed Conservative budget that forced the election.
Robertson says it included a 418 million dollar cut to Agriculture Canada.
The former Ontario Coordinator of the National Farmers Union believes the bulk of those cuts will be coming out of Business Risk Management programs.
Robertson warns risk management programs, research and development are the keys to success for farmers, and Huron Bruce farmers are well aware of that fact.
