The Liberals in Bruce Grey Owen Sound and in Simcoe Grey are getting some high-profile support in the final days of the campaign.
Doctor Carolyn Bennett, a cabinet member in the Paul Martin government, will be in Owen Sound and Barrie on Tuesday.
Bennett will join Bruce Grey Owen Sound candidate Kimberley Love at 12 Noon at her Owen Sound office on 2nd Avenue East.
They will discuss the Liberal Health Care platform and National Food Strategy.
Bennett will then campaign with Simcoe Grey candidate Alex Smardenka at Barrie Hill Farms on Tuesday afternoon.
She is the latest of several high-profile politicians to make their way to the region to support candidates in the riding.
Conservative candidate Kellie Leitch has had two cabinet members and a senator with her at campaign stops.
