If you live in Saugeen Shores, be aware of telephone calls coming from the 510 area code.
Police have received several reports of calls being made to local residents from that area, which turns out to be in California.
Police say the callers are attempting to get people to log onto their computers, saying they have a virus.
But it’s believed they want you to download a piece of malware that would track keystrokes, thereby allowing them to record everything that is typed including passwords and credit card details.
In one case, Police say the caller sexually harassed the local resident.
