A Wiarton woman is 100 thousand dollars richer.
Sherry Fox was the winner of the province-wide Game Time Bingo at the Owen Sound bingo hall on April 2nd.
She says she’s never won a big jackpot and as she was watching the numbers on the board get closer to 35 she got more excited.
Fox says she split the 100-grand in half with her mother.
With her fifty-thousand dollars, Fox says she paid some bills that she needed to pay off and is looking at getting herself a new truck.
Fox was the sole winner of the jackpot that night.
She says there had been another winner in Owen Sound back in November, but that pot was split seven ways.
Fox says she plays at the Owen Sound bingo hall a couple of times per month on average.
