The City of Owen Sound has cancelled its public meeting on the closure of the jail.
The meeting was going to be held Tuesday night at the Bayshore Community Centre — but it has been cancelled because of the OHL Attack playoff game.
No new date for the meeting has been set.
City officials want to hold a meeting to gather support and information to convince the province to keep open the jail in Owen Sound.
Brockton is also hosting a community meeting to keep the Walkerton jail open — it will be held Thursday at 7 PM at Victoria Jubilee Hall.
