The Green Party has picked its candidate in Huron Bruce for the federal election.
23 year old Eric Shelley says he wants to reach out to the young demographic in this campaign and show them their vote really does count.
Shelley is a Pre-Health Sciences student at Georgian College and lives with his family near Tiverton.
His campaign manager is Corrina Serda — the youngest person in the world to receive training from Al Gore for his film “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Serda says voter apathy is especially prevalent in youth and the Green Party gives them power and trust to make a difference.
