The Federal Liberal Candidate for Bruce-Grey Owen Sound is hoping voters will show a little “love” to her party in next month’s election.
Kimberley Love offically kicked off her campaign with a ribbon cutting and speech at her election headquarters in downtown Owen Sound on Friday.
Love says she has been preparing this campaign for the past 18 months, because the threat of an election has been looming for some time.
With an election set for May 2nd, she says it’s time to listen to her constituents to find out what they want to see from their government.
Love plans to focus her campaign platform on family issues such as pensions, post secondary expenses and affordable daycare.
According to Love, the Conservatives are wasting billions of taxpayer dollars on big budget items such as fighter jets, mega prisons and corporate tax cuts.
She adds with Bruce-Grey Owen Sound being a “swing riding”, she hopes enough people are fed up with the Conservatives, and will vote Liberal on May 2nd.
