The Harper government lost a vote in the House of Commons Friday,
Prime Minister Harper will visit the Governor General Saturday morning, asking that Parliament be dissolved and an election held.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller isn’t happy to be on the campaign trail but feels an election could help clear the air at Parliament.
Miller says the coalition parties ganged up on the Conservatives on the motion of non confidence, and in fact had decided at the start of the week how the vote would go.
Miller says his biggest fear is that the Harper Conservatives fail to form a majority government — and the coalition would take over with the Bloc having the deciding vote on issues affecting all of Canada.
