There’s more news out today about that fire in Listowel that claimed the lives of two volunteer firefighters.
Ontario Fire Marshal investigators are now looking into reports that roof work was being done when the fatal blaze broke out at the Dollar Store in Listowel.
56 year old Kenneth Rea and 30 year old Raymond Walter were killed in Thursday’s blaze after they went into the store.
There are reports they’d entered the building to look for any shoppers who might have been trapped inside.
Dozens of firefighters stood at attention Friiday as the bodies of the two were removed from the building.
