Bruce Peninsula OPP have a 37 year old man in custody after an aggravated assault on Saugeen First Nation.
Police say they received a 9-1-1 call on March 5th, asking for medical help for a 53 year old man.
Investigation revealed the man had been severely beaten in an unprovoked attack in his own home around midnight Wednesday, March 2nd.
The man had laid there for two days until his daughter came to visit on Saturday morning.
She called police, and they identified the man who had assaulted her father, but could not find him that day.
Police eventually caught up to him last Wednesday at his house on Saugeen First Nation, and arrested him after a short chase.
He remains in custody with a bail hearing Tuesday in Walkerton court.
