There will be a plea to save Chesley District High School tonight.
The Bluewater Accommodation Review Committee will hear from the ‘Save our School’ committee in Chesley at its meeting at 7 PM at Chesley District High School.
Chesley District is part of the review that covers all schools in the Chesley and Hanover areas.
The residential group wants the school board to keep Chesley District open and make it a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school.
Co-Chair Brenda Scott says that model has proved successful in Wiarton, Lion’s Head and Walkerton.
The group also staged a massive group hug around the school earlier this month.
