Grey Bruce Health Services is pleased with the results of a recent patient survey.
The website – MyHospitalCare.ca – is a website designed to help Ontarians learn about how their local hospitals are performing.
The performance rating is based on patient responses to survey questions about their hospital experience, wait times, and rates of hospital acquired infection.
GBHS President and CEO Maureen Solecki says the hospital scored above average in every emergency services category, as well as rehabilitation, and mental health care.
Solecki adds GBHS came in at the provincial average on the acute care categories – and they are working to bring up their numbers in that category.
She says the GBHS supports greater public availability of individual hospital performance and health care system performance information.
