The Saugeen Sustainability Volunteer and Resource Centre is ready to release the results of a survey they’ve done.
The Centre received an Ontario Trillium grant late last year to hire a consultant who conducted a feasibility study and held a series of workshops.
President Victoria Serda says for the first time ever, they were linking the issues of volunteering and sustainability, to see what the needs of the community are.
The results of that study are being released Thursday night.
Serda is hoping to find out what types of supports are needed for organizations that help keep the community thriving.
After the results are released, the Saugeen Sustainability Volunteer and Resource Centre will conduct its Annual General Meeting.
The entire meeting takes place from 7 PM to 9 PM at the storefront next to the Sustainability Centre’s office.
