The Owen Sound Museums Nominating Committee is looking for applications for volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors.
Museums Manager Mary Smith says they are looking for applicants who experience or skills in the areas of marketing, business management, leadership, and fundraising.
Smith is also look for people who value and the importance of our local history.
The Board meets monthly and members are required to serve on at least one committee and should be prepared to commit to a two year term.
Smith says the deadline for application has passed but they are still interested in hearing from potential board members.
You are asked to submit a resume along with a letter of interest to the Owen Sound Museums.
