The Hanover and District Hospital has a new Vice President of Patient Care Services.
Esther Millar is taking over the reins from Reta Sproule.
Millar comes with a wealth of experience from the community sector up north.
She has expertise in about 20 programming areas including public health, community mental health addictions, nursing stations and speech and audiology.
Millar says she’s looking forward to the challenge ahead but admits she has some pretty big shoes to fill.
As for Sproule, she officially retires this month.
Until than she will continue to show Millar the ropes.
Sproule wishes her successor well and says she has every confidence she will do a great job.
Sproule is now looking forward to the next chapter of her life – retirement.
She plans to travel, spend more time with the grandkids, as well as golf and dabble in the arts.
