Stratford General Hospital is sharing in newly-announced funding to increase patient access to CT scans.
The site administered by the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is getting a portion of almost 270 thousand dollars being transferred from the Southwest Local Health Integration Network for 295 CT scan hours.
The Owen Sound hospital is in line for funding for access to 300 MRI hours.
The funding is part of an overall 1.4 million dollar package for CT and MRI scan access, smoothing patient flow through upgraded technology and connecting long-term care homes.
