We are expecting a major snowstorm to blow through our region and the rest of southern Ontario this week.
Bayshore Broadcasting Weather Specialist John Wilson and Environment Canada climatologist Dave Phillips says most of southern Ontario will be buried in up to 30 centimetres of snow between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.
The 24-hour “weather wallop” is expected to be the biggest snowfall southern Ontario has seen all of this winter and last.
The region from Huron-Perth to the G-T-A to Kingston is anticipating 20 to 30 centimetres, with areas closer to the lower Great Lakes receiving the most snow.
Between 10 and 20 centimetres are expected from Kincardine to Barrie to the Cornwall corridor.
