A Wingham-area man charged with second-degree murder is scheduled to go to trial in Goderich Court on September 19th.
27 year-old Ron Ward was charged almost a year ago after the body of Scott Hayes was discovered in a parking lot off Josephine Street in Wingham.
A second-degree murder charge against Ward’s 26 year-old brother Chris Ward was set aside at a preliminary trial last year when it was found there was insufficient evidence against him to proceed.
