The federal NDP candidate for Huron Bruce has been honoured by the National Farmers Union.
Grant Robertson received the Grassroots Award at the recent NFU convention.
The NFU hands out the award each year in every region of Canada, and the winner is chosen, based on their dedication to furthering the interests of farmers.
NFU President Terry Boehm says Robertson is a tireless worker on behalf of family farmers and all citizens.
Robertson was recently the Ontario Director of the National Farmers Union.
