A 43-year-old Wiarton man is appearing in Owen Sound Court charged with 2 counts of assault, assault with a weapon and resisting police.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were called to a Berford Street business in Wiarton shortly before 4:30 PM on Thursday about an assault.
When they arrived, police found a suspect outside the business and arrested him.
Information from the victims and witnesses resulted in 4 charges being laid against the Wiarton resident.
He was held in custody overnight.
The two people who were assaulted, were not seriously injured.
