The next Accommodation Review Committee meeting concerning Hanover – Chesley area schools may have a more diplomatic tone next time around.
A special committee meeting held Monday night set out to clarify the process — and unlike the last ARC meeting — this one did not include an open-mic session.
Bluewater School Board Trustees discussed how to avoid a repeat of the last ARC meeting – which was confused and combative at times.
Now that a firm process has been put in place and personal biases on the part of trustees have been put aside, the consensus is that the next meeting will go smoother.
As far as submissions from the public – the Bluewater Board has announced it will assist those who have, for whatever reason, difficulty preparing a submission in an effort to make the process fully inclusive.
ARC co chair Salim Shaw is hopeful the whole process can be wrapped up soon.
Also – those who do plan on taking part in future public ARC meeting will have to take note of the meeting norms outlined at last nights meeting.
You will have five minutes to speak, no personal information is to be given, be respectful of others, and no swearing.
