It’s a great new beginning for the Saugeen Conservation Authority.
CAO Jim Coffey says they’re open for business as usual at their new office space in Formosa.
The doors opened at 8:30 AM Monday.
He says the move into the new office went smooth with three days of great weather last week.
Coffey says it’ll take a few weeks to get accustomed to finding everything, but staff are settling in.
He says the biggest advantage is gaining more space — the new digs are double the square footage they had in Hanover.
The old office was built with space for eight or nine staff in mind — but now they have 21 people working for them.
The new office is located at the south end of Formosa in the former Trillium Mutual Insurance office.
There is no signage up yet, but that is coming.
It’s open as usual from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
