Owen Sound Council and staff will meet again Monday to look at the 2011 budget.
Council met for two days last week and today — they will discuss capital expenditures.
Mayor Deb Haswell says they have two big projects planned in 2011 — including the reconstruction of the municipal parking lot behind Scotiabank and new traffic lights.
A draft budget presented to council on Thursday shows a proposed hike of 7.64 per cent.
Haswell and other members say they want to bring that down — but she says there is still a lot to review to see what exactly needs to be cut.
