Axels, Salchows, Lutz jumps and sit-spins will take centre ice at the Port Elgin Plex this weekend.
The Ice Dreams 2011 event is being hosted by the Saugeen Shores Figure Skating Club.
President Hope Alvarez says Skate Canada gives the club gets the chance to host the event every four years or so.
Alvarez says the show is a fun competition for ages 4 to 18.
She says it’s a chance for the skaters to show off their skills.
The events include free skating, showcases, and a production skate.
Alvarez says there are over 60 events, and they have 193 skaters registered.
Skaters are coming from skating clubs across the region, including Saugeen Shores, Owen Sound, Lion’s Head and Thornbury.
