The Light the Way Campaign for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is just short of the 100 thousand dollar goal.
Campaign Chair Doctor Claire Jeffrey says they’ve brought in $92,500 so far.
She says the generosity from the community has been amazing, and they will keep the push on to reach their goal.
Doctor Jeffrey says there are a lot of great charities that people help out especially over the holidays, and she feels blessed that people have chosen to help out the LIght the Way Campaign.
Last year’s campaign brought in 100 thousand dollars — topping their 80 thousand dollar goal.
Doctor Jeffrey says the pace of this year’s fundraising is about par with last year, which she is happy about.
There’s no firm end date, but Dr. Jeffrey says they will wrap up the campaign soon.
