The first Committee of the Whole meeting in South Bruce Peninsula will look at the controversial sewer project at Sauble Beach.
Council will hear Tuesday from Jeff Graham of Genivar who will present a report on the proposed 30 million dollar project.
It recommends the municipality approve the draft Environmental Study Report for Water and Sewage Works for Sauble Beach.
In the report — it calls for a new collection and treatment system that would serve 719 properties to start and then expand to service more than 24 hundred lots.
Mayor John Close doesn’t expect anything further than the report being delivered to take place at Tuesday’s meeting.
Close says there may not be any debate on it at all.
Council can choose to defer any debate about the issue or approve the report.
Many residents are opposed to the sewer project — as they could be on the hook for upwards of 20 thousand dollars if it is installed.
