If you receive an e-mail from an outfit called the International Powerball Lottery police advise you to delete it immediately — it’s a scam.
South Bruce OPP say the e-mail asks for personal information including your name, age, address, sex and passport number to become eligible for a large money prize.
The amount of the supposed prize is 2.4-million British pounds — which is close to 3.8-million dollars Canadian.
Police remind us to keep the old saying in mind — if it seems too good to be true, it likely is.
