There’s a new face at the helm of Bruce County tourism with a strong outlook into the future.
Kim McPhedran — a Port Elgin resident — has been named to the position after working several years in an assistant role at the Bruce County Tourism office.
McPhedran has worked on integral aspects of tourism including the Explore the Bruce Passport campaign and the Bruce county plowing match.
She now looks into the future of the tourism industry in Bruce County and sees great things on the horizon.
One of the new items is the new region set by the province that encompasses Bruce County.
McPhedran also looks forward to continuing to put Bruce County tourism on the forefront of technology through facebook and twitter.
As for this season — McPhedran hopes people will get out and enjoy all that Bruce County has to offer such as snowmobile and snowshoe trails.
