Police are investigating reports a still-born child buried in the backyard of a Teeswater home.
The reports allege the child was buried sometime in 2005.
Members of the South Bruce OPP, the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch and the OPP Forensic Investigation Unit acted on those reports this week.
That’s why you may have noticed a heavy Police presence in that area.
The OPP tell us they have completed a search of the property and no human remains were located, but they say the investigation is continuing.

Police say the incident is isolated and there’s no risk to the public’s safety.
