South Bruce OPP received a report of a weekend crash involving a snowmobile and a dog.
It happened on Whitechurch Street on Saturday in Kinloss Township.
The Black Labrador dog was playing with the family when struck by the snowmobile travelling at a high rate of speed — causing the dogs death.
South Bruce OPP is urging the snowmobile driver to come forward and asking anyone with information on a dark coloured snowmobile with fresh damage to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Snowmobile operators are reminded that a snowmobile must not travel more the 20 KM/H where the posted limit is 50 KM/H.
