Tonight’s Meaford Council meeting has been postponed because of the winter storm.
It will now begin at 3 PM on Wednesday.
The meeting is going to be an important one.
CAO Frank Miele will release his report on a controversial blog that was highly critical of town council and administrative staff.
The name of the blogger will be in that report — along with some recommendations on what to do next.
Those options include filing a lawsuit against the blogger and referring the case to the OPP for a possible criminal investigation.
Grey Highlands Council has also cancelled the public meeting scheduled tonight at 7 PM for the Water and Wastewater Rates.
It has been re-scheduled for next Monday December 20th at 7:00 PM.
The Collingwood municipal office and Cape Croker band office are also closed today.
The Township of Georgian Bluffs Municipal Administration Building closed at 2:30 PM today due to the inclement weather.
