The labs at the four hospitals within the South Bruce Grey Health Centre has passed the test.
President and CEO of the centre Paul Davies, told the board of directors on November 24th that all four centres have been accredited for the next four years.
Davies says the testing for accreditation has become far more stringent than it has been in the past and the South Bruce Grey Health Centre was one of the first to undergo the new conditions.
Davies says the testers look at policies, procedures and methods of doing the various tests that are done in laboratories.
He says over 1,000 items are up for scrutiny in a regular test.
Davies says the accreditation tells patients that any tests done in the four hospital will be true and accurate results everytime.
