Police officers will be out in full force today…collecting food.
Members of the South Bruce OPP Auxiliary Unit will be at grocery stores in the Kincardine and Walkerton areas from 9 AM to 1 PM today.
They are collecting food for the local food banks.
You may be asked to donate a canned good or non perishable food item to help fill their OPP cruisers.
South Bruce OPP also donated a thousand dollars this week in support of our troops.
The money was donated to the Kincardine legion who will then spend the money on coffee for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan.
