Owen Sound’s tourism office is getting some renovations — but that means it will have to close for about a week.
The city’s Manager of Economic Development and Tourism, Steve Furness, says they’re replacing the hardwood floors at the Visitor’s Centre and Marine & Rail Museum beginning Monday.
But he says visitor services will not be interrupted.
Furness says tourism staff can also be reached from the city clerk’s office.
If you have family or friends visiting this week, they can still get tourism information and brochures from City Hall.
Furness says the website will also be up and running as usual at www.owensoundtourism.ca
Furness says the office should be reopened again next Monday, December the 13th.
