Each passing day is another closer to Christmas.
But Santa Claus is taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the boys and girls of Southampton tonight.
Heather Lorenz — the Community Relations coordinator for the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce — says the Southampton Santa Claus parade begins at 7 PM.
Lorenz says there will be plenty of floats and music and there will be some candy cane giveaways as well.
She says the parade’s theme is the 12 Days of Christmas and she’s been told there are some pretty good decorated floats with that theme in mind.
Lorenz says the parade will form near Saugeen Memorial Hospital at High and Grey Streets and proceed west on High to Grosvenor Street.
