The new Holiday Inn Express has opened it’s doors in Kincardine.
General Manager Cynthia Romanyk says it’s a great fit for the community, as it can accommodate those travelling for leisure, and those looking to do business.
She says the 70 room hotel includes 17 suites and two conference rooms.
The largest can hold 40 people.
Romanyk says the hotel is fully equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, a fitness centre with indoor pool and whirlpool, and the suites include kitchenettes.
Romanyk says they’re expecting most of the corporate bookings to come from local businesses, but adds they have been getting weekend bookings from hockey teams.
She says there has been a demand in Kincardine for more room to accommodate tourists and business-people, and that’s why the owner David Hornstein decided to invest in the hotel.
The hotel took in its first booking on November 12th.
