Negotiations continue today between OPSEU and the Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living.
Mediation is being held to try and avert a strike by 60 counsellors who work at the office that covers the Wiarton area.
The union has set a strike deadline of tomorrow as the workers are looking for their first contract.
OPSEU spokesperson Ted Loughead says the part time workers are looking for more hours, and want the managers to stop doing their jobs.
Community Living operates 4 group homes and two day programs in Wiarton and provides individual and family supports.
