Kincardine and area residents now have access to a newly integrated Service-Ontario centre.
It is the 7th integrated centre to open in Huron-Bruce.
The centre features health card, along with driver and vehicle services under one roof.
As of this month — routine health card services are now available at the Service-Ontario centre at 1802 Highway 21 North R.R #2 in Kincardine.
Driver and vehicle licensing services are already offered at the same location.
Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell says the people of Kincardine expect the government to spend their tax dollars wisely and to provide excellent customer service.
Service-Ontario is consolidating locations and integrating services to make things faster and easier for people to get the government services they need.
Integrated services are also available in:
Goderich at 38 North Street
Wingham at 185 Josephine Street
Port Elgin at 559 Goderich Street
Clinton at 65 Albert Street
Exeter at 388 Main Street South
Walkerton at 203 Cayley Street
The changes will give people access to more routine government services and better meet customer needs.
By the end of this year, nearly 95 per cent of all Ontarians will soon be within 10 kilometres of an integrated ServiceOntario centre.
