Teachers from Bruce and Grey Counties are getting together to learn how to teach life saving skills to students.
Those skills include CPR and how to use a defibrillator.
37 teachers in all from Bruce Peninsula District, Chesley District, Georgian Bay Secondary, Grey Highlands, John Diefenbaker, Kincardine District, Owen Sound Collegiate, Peninsula Shores, Sacred Heart, Saugeen District, St. Mary’s High, Walkerton District and West Hill Secondary Schools are in attendance.
The Teacher training workshop takes place all day today until 4:30 PM at the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre.
Partnering with the teachers are Bruce Power, the Power Workers Union, and Bruce County EMS and Grey County EMS.
