A happy ending to the search for an elderly Owen Sound man.
Owen Sound Police say after media reports were broadcast, they were flooded with calls from the public with possible sightings of 73 year old Robert Bowers.
Acting on tips from the public, Police found Bowers in Wolselet on Grey Road 17 just after 6:30 PM on Saturday.
Police say he was exhausted so they transported him to Grey Bruce Health Services but he’s expected to make a full recovery.
Police would like to thank those people who called and say without their help, the outcome could have been tragic.
