Hydro One is planning some maintenance and upgrade work on lines in the area, and thousands of people will be affected on Sunday.
In parts of Collingwood, Euphrasia, Meaford and St. Vincent Township — Hydro One estimates close to 74 hundred customers will be without service for about one hour.
The outage is scheduled from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM on Sunday.
Those affected will be notified by phone.
Meanwhile, another planned outage is taking place Sunday in the Midland area.
Hydro One says nearly 500 customers are going to be without hydro from 1 PM until 4 PM.
