Organizers hope a good old-fashioned harvest dinner, added to a silent and live auction, along with entertainment, spell a successful fundraiser for Mission Zimbabwe.
Team Leader Barry Mutrie says they hope to match the 11 thousand dollars or so they raised last year for the Village of Hope project.
Mutrie says the project helps children, orphaned by AIDS at the Village of Hope to have a better life.
He says the money helps provide education, medical care and food for the children.
This year’s fundraiser dinner and auction takes place at the Cedar Rail Club in Scone on Saturday, November 13th.
Doors open at 5:30 PM.

Reservations for groups will be taken.
Over the past four years, Mission Zimbabwe workers have built a school and lodging for the children and have raised about 120 thousand dollars.
