A 52 year old man is dead after an ATV crash near Sauble Beach on the weekend.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were called to Rankin Bridge Road northeast of Sauble Beach at 5:15 PM on Sunday.
Police say a man on an ATV failed to negotiate a curve in the road, slid on gravel and hit a tree — and then the machine rolled and hit a second tree.
52 year old John Neilsen of Tiverton was taken to Wiarton hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Police again ask you to slow down and drive defensively — no matter what your vehicle is.
