There will be a few new faces around the table at school board meetings this fall after voters cast ballots in the municipal election on Monday.
First up, the Bluewater school board results:
In Owen Sound — Marg Gaviller was elected as the Bluewater school board trustee with 39 percent of the vote.
In Hanover and West Grey the current Vice Chair of the board, John Chapman won re-election.
Chatsworth-Georgian Bluff trustee Marilyn McComb retained her seat on the board.
In Meaford-Blue Mountains, voters elected Frances Morgan, and incumbent Paul Wehrle is out.
Terry Bell will be a new face at the board table, after winning South and North Bruce Peninsula.
In Brockton-South Bruce the trustee elected was Dan Wong.
Two Bluewater seats were filled by acclamation, Jan Johnstone in Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss — and Kevin Larson for Saugeen shores and Arran Elderslie.
In Southgate-Grey Highlands — the trustee is Jim Dawson as he won over 4 other candidates.
There were no races at all for the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board.
All of the candidates were unopposed this year.
There is one new face at the board table, as Lori Di Castri of RR1 Kincardine will represent Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and Brockton Ward 31.
The other five people who filed are all sitting trustees.
Board Chair Norm Bethune of Owen Sound represents Owen Sound, Meaford and Blue Mountains.
Vice-chair Beverley Eckensweiler of Mildmay, represents South Bruce.
Francis Gross of Hanover represents West Grey, Hanover, Grey Highlands and Southgate.
David Slosser of Walkerton represents Brockton wards 34 and 36.
Jules Vanhaelemeesch represents Saugeen Shores, Arran- Elderslie, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Northern Bruce Peninsula and South Bruce Peninsula.
Randy Roote is the appointed trustee representing Saugeen First Nation.
