The developmental service workers with the Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living are hitting the picket line.
The OPSEU members are holding an information picket from 3 PM to 5 PM in Wiarton on Friday.
The union says they want to let residents know about the possibility of a strike by the 50 employees if their contract negotiations fail.
OPSEU has applied to the Ministry of Labour for help.
The union says the main issues are not about money — but rather rules for hiring and management doing the work of the bargaining unit.
