Time to strap on your thinking cap for the 6th annual Mighty Museums Trivia Challenge and Silent Auction.
The Owen Sound Museums host the event at the Bayshore Community Centre tonight with the first question at 7 PM.
Kathy Strutt — Community Outreach Coordinator — says the event is always alot of fun with eight rounds of ten questions – with each round focusing on a different topic from local history to music and geography to math.
Strutt says the questions are compiled by Scott Cameron, a teacher at Westdale high school who researches the topics and writes the questions.
Teams are of 8 people and come from local businesses and trivia buffs costing $100 to register a team.
Strutt says winning team will have cash prizes of $300 for top prize, $200 for second and $100 for third.
There will also be a silent auction at the event, food and beverages as this is a licensed event.
Strutt says all proceeds go directly back into the Billy Bishop and Marine and Rail Museums for programs and is split evenly between the two.
Bayshore Broadcasting’s JD Moffat will be this years host and quiz master.
Doors open at 6 PM.
