An Owen Sound man has been charged in connection with two separate sexual assaults.
Police were called to an east side residence early Friday morning after a report of a sexual assault.
Police say the female victim managed to text a friend to help her after she had been sexually assaulted, choked and forcibly confined.
Police arrested a man at the scene — and also heard from a second woman who revealed she was the victim of a similar incident by the same man two weeks before.
Police say both victims casually knew the suspect.
A 21 year old man has been charged with two counts each of sexual assault, choking and forcible confinement.
He will appear in court for a bail hearing on Monday.
